Perineural Injection Therapy: Upper Extremity, head, neck, face, shoulder and upper torso

  • Open Wellness 1901 North Killingsworth Street Portland, Oregon, 97217 United States (map)

Ready to learn Perineural Injection techniques (formerly called Neural Prolotherapy) and add a powerful tool to your practice?

In this class we will address head, neck, face, upper extremity, shoulder and upper torso injections with Perineural Injection Therapy. Perineural Therapy traces its roots back to prolotherapy, using low dose dextrose as a subcutaneous injectable treatment to reduce nerve inflammation, lower the pain threshold, and provide immediate relief for musculoskeletal and joint pain.

Dr. John Lyftogt, a physician from New Zealand, pioneered Perineural Dextrose Injection therapy and these are the techniques we will bring to you in this class. This is a safe and particularly simple injection technique to introduce into your primary care or specialty care practice.

Most patients experience significant improvement on the same day in the office. This therapy is essential for any physician working with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain.
